Transit-Oriented Development Study

Client: Village of Riverside, Illinois

 

The Village of Riverside was awarded a grant by the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) to develop a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Planning Study. The Village retained a team comprised of BauerLatoza Studio and URS to study the Central Business District within the TOD study area.

The projet team reviewed the existing conditions and opportunities, confirmed and refined the overall vision for Historic Riverside, and established preferred principles to guide the character of the development, redevelopment, and improvement within the TOD area. BauerLatoza utilized computer generated 3D modeling to assist the Village in visualizing the evolution of the study area.
