Village of Riverside Transit Oriented Development Study

The Village of Riverside was awarded a grant by the Regiional Transportation Authority (RTA) to develop a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Planning Study. The URS/BauerLatoza Studio team was retained to study the Central Business District within the TOD study area. The study will be used to begin implementation of the overall master plan for development of the downtown business district.

The project team reviewed the exsiting conditions and opportunites, confirmed and refined the overall vision for historic Riverside, and established preferred principles that will guide the character of the development, redevelopment, and improvement within the TOD area. The vision, together with community input and conditions analysis, will provide the starting point for the development of TOD concept scenarios.
