Burnham Park is a 4-mile long park that spans Chicago's lakefront from the existing Museum Campus at the north, to Promontory Point (55th Street) at the south. BauerLatoza Studio led a team of consultants i preparing the design for this publicly revered property. The Plan developed a vision for future use of the park and a series of guidelines for implementation. The Framework Plan and Guidelines will serve as a resource for the park improvements both in the near future and for long-term planning. The Plan included guidelines research and analysis of existing site conditions, recreation and use studies involving public and community input. BauerLatoza Stsudio was responsible for the architecture and landscape planning and development, and also reviewed and coordinated future work on Lake Shore Drive and the Lake Michigan Shoreline.
