The City of Gary, planning ahead for its centennial, retained BauerLatoza to design a bandshell for the 'steel city.' Looking toward the future, the design is modern, fits into the forested park, and is sustainable. The bandshell will be used for local concerts, movies, graduation ceremonies and other popular events. The design includes fixed seating for 250, with accommodations for additional seating on the existing dunes.
