Annie May Swift Hall, a local historic structure, is located on the Northwestern University Campus in Evanston. The University selected BauerLatoza Studio to design and oversee the reconstruction of the limestone stairs at the three 1st floor entrances to the building.

The limestone treads, limestone end walls and steel handrails were heavily deteriorated due to time and weather. BauerLatoza Studio worked with the University and the Preservation Commission of Evanston to provide a design that balanced the code requirements and historic nature of the stairs.
