New Regal Theater Restoration

Chicago, Illinois

Client: New Regal Foundation

Cost: $1,500,000

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the theater was originally built in the 1920s as the lavish Avalon Theater.

Restoration of the exterior terra cotta domes, minarets and masonry walls were included in the scope of work. Missing terra cotta pieces were replicated to match original and reinstalled to the existing concrete dome.
